Job Description:
Commercial sales representative responsible for selling PVC-u building products, including Roofline and Cladding, to the New Build, Contract and Local Authority (Housing Associations) markets in Scotland. Working with both the national Commercial Sales team and the local depot in Dalgety Bay, Fife, you will be required to visit customers across Scotland, but predominately within the central belt. Leads will be both self generated and provided from external sources. This role is responsible for call planning, accurate reporting and achieving agreed targets.
Skills Required
Experience of New Build, Contract and Local Authority market sectors
Proven track record of prospecting, quoting and closing deals
Track record in working to and attaining sales targets
Articulate with ability to communicate at multiple levels within clients' organisation
Ability to manage customers and prospects to ensure a balance of delivering immediate results while developing medium and long term prospects to ensure a steady revenue stream
Illustrated ability to discover and understand the relationships in a given market and develop relationships with key partners
Ability to understand client's issues and partner with them to identify and provide solutions
Ability to comprehend and communicate technical aspects and application of a product
Self motivating and goal orientated
Familiarity with building plans and construction methods advantageous
Valid driving licence essential

Job Description:
We are looking to recruit additional internal personnel to join our commercial sales department based at Blackburn.
The newly created role is to compliment the existing team who specialize in supplying both new build and refurbishment contractors, dealing with estimators, contract managers & buyers, therefore the ability to communicate at all levels is a pre-requisite
Key responsibilities are:-
Sales Administration.
Telephone Canvassing and Sales Generation.
Compiling of Contract Information.
Project Tracking.
Material Scheduling.
Providing Quotations.
As a self-motivated methodical individual, you will have a positive, persistent and confident manner with the ability to build strong working relationships with our clients. Aptitude, numerical ability and PC literacy is essential.
