Job Title - Warehouse Administrator (Transport & Logistics)

Location: Blackburn

We are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our busy and growing logistics team based in Blackburn. You will be responsible all administration duties for all warehouse and transport processes.

Daily duties to include (but not limited to);

  • To produce Picking Lists for warehouse to pick stock from
  • To produce Delivery Notes for transport to deliver stock on
  • To produce Goods Delivery Memos for ad-hoc deliveries
  • To administer paperwork for Made-to-Order deliveries
  • To assist with planning of vehicle utilisation
  • To produce Load Front Sheets for transport
  • To administer Inter-Depot transfers
  • To administer all paperwork returning from completed loads
  • To carry out investigations for OTIF failures
  • To produce weekly OTIF analysis



    This role plays an important part in maintaining our reputation by working with customers in a friendly and approachable manner. You will be a team player who is always willing to go the extra mile to take care of our customer's needs. You will be able to work under pressure, under tight deadlines and have a flexible approach to your day-to-day activities as well as a willingness to learn new skills and processes.

    Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in a similar post
  • GCSE's including mathematics and English
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • You will have an excellent eye for detail and produce your work to top standards
  • High level of accuracy
  • Experience and understanding with Excel
