All the way back in August 2017, when GAP acquired SIG Roofing and Windows, we also took over their Sheet Sales sector – previously known as Formerton Sheet Sales. Swiftly renamed GAP Sheet Materials, the depot down in Southampton has been going from strength to strength since becoming part of the GAP depot network.
Although GAP is known for their uPVC Building Products (from Fascia’s and Soffits to Rockdoors and Roof Lanterns), adding Sheet Materials to our product range was the perfect fit. The range is quite extensive, including products such as Polycarbonate, Hygienic Cladding, Extruded Acrylic, Rigid Foam PVC Sheet, Glazing Bars, Corrugated PVC Sheet, Canopies, Carports and Conservatory Roof Kits.
All suitable for a number of applications, the Sheet Materials team are on hand to help find the best material for your project. The team, led by David Brown, have over 50 years of experience between them and are always happy to share their knowledge and experience. 
Polycarbonate
Our Polycarbonate range spans a number of products, including Multiwall Polycarbonate, Corrugated Polycarbonate, Clear Solid Polycarbonate and Embossed Polycarbonate. Multiwall Polycarbonate is available in 3 colours, Clear, Opal and Bronze, and in a range of sizes and thicknesses.
Hygienic Cladding
Hygienic Cladding is suitable for a number of applications where a clean hygienic surface is mandatory, such as commercial kitchens, bathrooms, hospitals and dentist surgeries. Our Hygienic Cladding is manufactured by Palram and is low maintenance, easy to install, has high impact strength and is completely waterproof. Available in 16 colours including Black, White, Peacock, Dolphin Grey and Siren Red.
Extruded Acrylic
We supply a variety of products including Mirror Extruded Acrylic and Prism Patterned. Our Extruded Acrylic is suitable for both internal and external use and available in a range of thicknesses and sizes. Mirror Extruded Acrylic is most often used in public areas as a safer alternative to glass.
