After a lot of planning and research, the new depot concept is now live at GAP Deeside, in North Wales.
After a difficult two years for everyone, we are excited to start the process of opening new depots across the UK and also to refurbish the current depots we already have! However, before we started the journey, we wanted to review the current trade counter model, freshening up the design and embrace digital media. GAP Deeside seemed like the perfect starting point – a busy depot that needed a bit of TLC and not too far from our head office site.
The biggest change for the new concept is moving away from physical product displays, instead focussing on the using digital media to showcase GAPs wide range of manufactured products. The depot features 5 large advertising screens, showcasing our extensive range of products, plus current offers and other information.
We have also created a purpose built HUB, where customers can come to comfortably design and order Windows, Rockdoors, Bi Folds, Lanterns and more.
The depot opened on Monday 18th October for our Deeside customers, and the response has been incredible so far – we can’t wait to give more of our depots this fantastic new look.
